WILDERNESS CHALLENGE©

Wild animals can make themselves at home in your own back yard.

From Montana country to the Everglades, the Australian Outback to the sub-arctic tundra... we bring the best to your home, classroom, or library from the world's wilderness areas.

Making memories...

Dad and children take a quick swim in the cold Canadian Boundary Waters.

"Attainable Adventures"- We'll show there is much to enjoy of raw nature in one's own back yard.

We'll be making "Communication Connections" with students all around the world... from the Canadian Arctic to the Australian Outback. From biologist friends and kids who care, we'll learn how to help platypuses and polar bears, kiwis and kudus.

Three ways wilderness is a challenge:

1. the challenge of EXPERIENCING the wilderness

2. the challenge to PROTECT the wilderness and habitat

3. the challenge to MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

What do kids say?

Lindsey Kellor, 12, says:

"Nature is one big refuge. When you're on the wild side, you realize that your world isn't just one town or one state... it's bigger than that!"

Margaret Rebholz, 13, says:

"When you go on a wilderness adventure and are out in nature, you forget about your troubles."
